 PHOTO OF THE WEEK: Suddenly it's bleak. The sky becomes a featureless gray, the air turns snippy and cold, and the ease of summer is instantly gone. Vibrancy has given way to lifelessness, so that meandering around the late afternoon project housing, the only evidence of human life are a series of abandoned plastic toys. As if in an early morning post-apocalyptic dream, the tricycles and toy trains could have been left here, in suspended motion, years ago by a distinct race rather than just yesterday, when it was still summer. | |
